Odds to win: 6/1

Key player: Alex Hales

Captain: Chris Read

History: Runner-up 2006

Nottinghamshire have built up a formidable limited overs team in recent years and their record in the last few tournaments shows this. The Outlaws have come out of their group the last three years and are a good bet to go one step further than last year and make it to Finals Day.

Nottinghamshire have an excellent blend of experienced stars and young talent to go all the way. Much will depend on how many games they can keep hold of the likes of England stars Graeme Swann, Stuart Broad and Samit Patel for.

If they are not available. Alex Hales and David Hussey are still on hand to provide some real impetus at the top of the order.

In the bowling department Paul Franks and Andre Adams have enough experience to take the key wickets. If they can, the Outlaws will be worthy of their tag as contenders.
