We are still in a broad, warm weather sector with high pressure across much of England and Wales.
The band of cloud you see to the NW is a cold front which is slowly pushing SE'wards today but weakening quickly as it does so, so nothing much on it by the time it passes through our part of the world.
As you can see, there is very little cloud overhead at present so after a bright start to the first part of the afternoon, it will turn increasingly hazy later, but still highs a good 2 or 3 degrees above average at around 23 or 24c, locally maybe 25c in Lincolnshire.
Feeling warm at Silverstone for the British Grand Prix when it starts at 1pm.
High UV levels today - take care - and high grass pollen counts.
There may be an odd spit from that frontal band this evening, but it will mainly stay dry. Cloudy overnight tonight, a fresher feel, lows 11 or 12c so not cool, but we lose the warmth and humidity of last night.
