For the first time this year I might well be using the word 'scorchio' in my forecast - the temperature is rising!
Today under the cloud we're expecting highs of 21c but by Sunday temperatures will rocket to 27c!
Low pressure is still in charge today, allowing weather fronts to bring us cloud, we will see some bright spells though, and the wind will be light.
The west will be best for sunshine today.
Through this evening is when most of us will enjoy the most sunshine before a weather front brings more cloud from the South-West overnight.
That cloud will be enough to produce the occasional spot of drizzly rain tomorrow morning but it will improve through the day with all of us enjoying some good spells of sunshine and dry weather by the afternoon.
It will be breezy but it will still feel warmer than today at 22c.
High pressure then starts to build and that's when we'll see more sunshine and the rising temperatures day by day.
It is most definitely a bbq weekend as it stays dry, sunny and warm everywhere!
As the temperatures rises so do the UV levels.
The sun is very strong this time of year and sun protection is essential to prevent burning.
Pollen levels will also be very high from Friday onwards.
