These prone cows are flying in the face of weather folklore because it's not going to rain for the foreseeable future!

A little blip today, with an odd isolated light shower possible, but after that it should stay fine, dry and sunny for the next eight or nine days.

After a cloudy start this morning things are brightening up well, up to 22 or 23c by mid-afternoon.

Temperatures in Hereford were up to 20c by 10am!

A weak warm front is pushing southeastwards today and pushes into the Midlands later on, but any activity on it is weakening, hence an isolated shower possible.

Generally however, it's an improving situation, a drying and brightening up process. Breezy and feeling humid.

Moderate to high UV levels as well as grass pollen today.

Clear and dry overnight. Variable cloud and odd isolated mist patches, lows 9 to 11c, cooler in the countryside.
