As Andy Murray gears up for his semi final match this afternoon at Wimbledon, another tennis hopeful from Leicestershire is making a name for himself on the international circuit.
Twenty-year-old Connor Glennon, from Rothley in Leicestershire, was awarded a tennis scholarship at Memphis Tennessee University in 2011.
He was named Confederation Player of the Year two years running, and hopes to become a professional tennis player.
In 2012 he was voted Conference USA Player of the Year. And in 2011 he was voted Conference USA Freshman of the year.
Connor started playing at the Rothley Ivanhoe Tennis club when he was just five-years-old, and quickly progressed through the ranks, winning a host of trophies.
On ITV News Central tonight, Connor talks about life 5,000 miles from home, missing his family, and his thoughts on the state of British tennis.
