This weekend will feel fresher than of late with a little more cloud around, but will turn very hot and humid next week with the increased risk of thundery showers.
Overnight, cloud has been pushing in from the east so thicker cover over the N & E of the region this morning. Sunnier the further west you are. Taking quite a long time to brighten in the east around The Wash. By mid-afternoon, all parts except Lincolnshire will have brightened. Temps around the coast 16/17c, nearer 27c further west.
Sunday: a repeat of Saturday, but cloud being quicker to break up. Little change on Monday, but the weather starts to break down from the SW. As the high pressure moves northwards and low pressure scoots in from the SW the wind direction changes to a SE'erly to funnel hot and humid air up from the near continent. An increasing risk of thundery showers during the coming week as things heat up. These could give rise to localised flooding because the ground is so parched. It will feel very humid.
