After a warm, close, showery night, Monday starts quite bright. Some misty, low cloud over hills, but sunny breaks across the Central region all the same.
The showers start up again later, but will be more generally distributed than they were yesterday. They could prove sharper at times, and it will be breezy so at least they pass through quickly. There will be brighter spells in between the showers, highs of 21c or 22c.
Tuesday starts promisingly, much of the day staying bright, but cloud and rain arriving from the South West, probably during the evening.
Wednesday will be wet for much of the day. Not like the heavy rain and showers we have just had, more steady rain.
This pulls away on Thursday and it will be showery and bright. Humidity and temperatures both increasing as winds swing back to a southerly direction again.
