Although today is feeling slightly fresher than recent days it will be all change again by the time we get to Thursday as humid air moves in from the continent.
As for the rest of today it's a case of sunshine and showers.
There is a risk the showers could be heavy and thundery but generally if you do catch one it will be much lighter than yesterday's downpours and they are very well scattered too.
Temperatures today in the sunny spells will hit 21c that's 70f.
The shower risk will continue through the evening before it turns drier for a time.
However the cloud will build overnight ahead of a weather front moving in from the West.
That front will bring rain in the early hours which will moving in a northerly direction.
Temperatures overnight will dip no lower than 12c.
Wednesday looks to be a wet one with rain on and off through the day as it travels north. Temperatures under the cloud will reach 21c, similar to today.
It's behind the band of rain we start to see warmer temperatures.
Thursday will be the best day of the week for sunshine and temperatures, if you like it hot that is! Highs of 28c are expected and it will be sunny too.
Friday once again will be dry, sunny and warm for most of us but the East Midlands is at risk of seeing some heavy, thundery downpours.
Saturday won't be as hot and there will be a few showers knocking around too the heaviest of which will be in the south-west.
