September begins with some fine and dry weather. There will be plenty of sunshine on offer and above average temperatures too as High Pressure sits to the South of the country keeping things settled. However it's all change later in the week as Low Pressure takes over and the weather turns more unsettled.

As for today the High Pressure will deliver dry and sunny conditions. The sun is still very strong and as a result temperatures will climb to highs of 22c.

There will not be a great deal of change tonight as the weather remains fairly cloudy and mild. It will feel slightly warmer than the past few nights.

Tomorrow we'll wake up to another sunny start and you won't be needing your brolly because it will stay dry and sunny throughout the day. If anything tomorrow will be warmer than today.

Temperatures creep up yet again on Wednesday and more sunshine is the menu. Expect highs of 25c.

A change is on the card for Friday as Low Pressure moves in and allows a Cold Front to sink southwards. This front will bring cloud and occasional outbreaks of rain but perhaps more importantly a noticeable drop in temperature, just in time for the weekend!
