Looking a little unsettled this week, but temperatures rising over the next few days. The best of the weather will be at the start of the week, low pressure in charge by the end of it.
Today there will be a fair amount of cloud around and further outbreaks of rain continuing.
We have a band of rain affecting the south of the Central region and the remnants of a front giving showers elsewhere, with sharper showers through eastern areas and particularly parts of Lincolnshire.
Temperatures are depressed - as indeed you may be having heard about these showers! 15-17c, 63f tops today, the best of any brightness in the west.
The showers keep going this evening, especially in the east. Last night felt rather autumnal with lows of 4c 39f, but tonight it won't be as cold as last night with more cloud around and lows bottoming out at around 8-9c.
Clearer further west; thicker cloud to the east with rain over Lincolnshire.
