A Met Office Amber alert has been issued for very strong winds on Sunday night into Monday. Gusts of 70mph are possible. An Yellow Alert has also been issued for heavy rain on Sunday night and Monday.

There is some uncertainty as to how strong the winds will be as it all depends on the track of a deep area of Low Pressure. If as predicted it moves northeastwards we could be in for a action packed spell of weather.

For the next 24 hours it is all about the showers and it will remain breezy and mild too.
