Temperatures are set to drop sharply as we head into the evening, with widespread frost thanks to largely clear skies.
Occasional showers are possible at first but it will largely be dry, with temperatures dipping to -2C in the west and 0C in the east.
Tomorrow will get off to a frosty start, making way for a dry and bright day with lots of wintery sunshine.
It's all change by the evening however with wet weather on the way again, and heavy rain and gales reaching the West Midlands late in the evening and moving eastwards.
As for the start of next week, it will be very wet and windy to begin with on Monday, clearing for the most part as we move through the day.
Expect more rain on Tuesday, continuing into Wednesday, with the wind set to pick up again.
