The family of five people shot dead in the United States have told ITV News Central that they had planned to moved back to Northampton.
Police in Utah found the body of Kelly Boren at her home along side her husband Joshua, 34, and their children Jaden, 7, and Hayley, 5, as well as her mother Marie King, 55.
Officers say Joshua had shot and killed his family before turning the gun on himself. They had been suffering marital problems. Their funeral will take place on Wednesday.
Marie King grew up in Northampton and attended Northampton School for Girls. Her daughter Kelly was born in the East Midlands but moved to the United States with her parents a few years later.
Both still had regular contact with their family in Northampton and had planned a trip home in October 2014.
Kelly had planned to move back to the UK eventually so her children could experience the English school system.
Marie's sister Jeanette Malpas told ITV News: "They were a beautiful family and we're all absolutely heartbroken. Our thoughts are also with Joshua's family. He was a very nice man when we met him. He didn't drink, smoke or swear... We'd love to be able to go to the funeral but I haven't got a passport. There are financial constraints too."
Kelly's uncle is flying over to Utah for the funeral. He used to meet up with the family every year in Las Vegas.
