Lord Heseltine opens new uni building

The Parkside Building provides a state of the art home for Birmingham Institute of Art and Design and the University's School of Media. The building is seen as a key part of the regeneration of the city near Millennium Point and the former Curzon Street Station.

This is an exciting time for Birmingham City University and by further developing our presence in the heart of the city we will able to capitalise on connections and better engage with local and national business. This increased engagement will enable us to continue our focus on professional and practice-based courses and the development to attract students to the city and retain high-skilled graduates in the region.
