Today gets off to a cloudy start across the region, but it should brighten up later on.
Don’t put away the brollies altogether though - a scattering of heavy, sometimes thundery showers will hit in between the bright spells, especially in the southern areas.
The West Midlands will have a maximum temperature of 19C (66F), while the East Midlands will be slightly cooler at 17C (63F).
As for the next few days, there will still be a few lingering showers on Sunday but we’ll see fewer showers and more sunshine as we move into Monday.
Temperatures will be around normal for this time of year.
