Service held for family killed in WW2 plane crash
A memorial has been held for a Nottinghamshire family who were killed when an RAF plane crashed into their home during World War II.
A crowdfunding page launched by distant relative Dorothy Bevins, raised money to buy a grave plot and headstone for the family who were killed in the tragedy in 1940 on Laughton Crescent. They were previously buried in a pauper's grave.
The family were the only civilian fatalities in Hucknall during the Second World War.
