Nottinghamshire completed a dramatic record run-chase to beat Essex and reach the Royal London One Day Cup final.
Essex set them a target of 371 to win and Notts stormed to victory with centuries from Samit Patel and Steven Mullaney.
They needed six runs from the final over after Mullaney was caught behind on 111. But Samit Patel's two boundaries to reach 122 not out secured victory for Nottinghamshire.
Nottinghamshire broke an English Domestic record, achieving the highest run-chase in One Day Cricket, that has stood since 2005.
Their opponents will be decided in tomorrow's second semi-final between Worcestershire and Surrey.
The final takes place at Lord's on July 1st.
