An Operational Service Medal for military service in Afghanistan has been found and handed into police.
The medal was handed into Bridgnorth Police station in Shropshire.
It's in its original presentation case and although police have the details of the soldier that it was awarded to, they haven't been able to trace them, or an address that they may be linked to.
There are no reports of a medal being lost or stolen. West Mercia Police are also going to use the details found on the medal and case to contact the regiment the soldier served with.
