A university has once again managed to secure prestigious Green Flag awards for two of its campuses.

Jubilee and University Park campuses at The University of Nottingham are no newbies when it comes to the award however.

In 2003, University Park was first awarded the Green Flag and has continued to do so ever since, whilst the Jubilee campus now has five accolades to its name.

The international award is a sign to the public that the space can be proud of its highest possible environmental standards and its great visitor facilities.

Andy Sweeney, Director of Estates (Operations) at the University of Nottingham said:

We are delighted that our University Park and Jubilee campuses continue to be recognised as worthy of a Green Flag award.

It’s a testimony to the hard work and dedication of our Grounds team who create and maintain such wonderful spaces that enhance biodiversity and the University’s commitment to a sustainable place to work and study.
