Police are hunting a suspect the fatal stabbing of man in Solihull have named a man they would like to speak and released images of him.
James Atherley, formerly of Wells Road, Solihull has been formally named as a suspect wanted in connection with the death of Callum Lees who was stabbed in the neck after an argument at a house party in Hopwas Grove on the 6th of August.
Mr Lees was found collapsed in nearby Haselour Road by a member of the public and later died in hospital.
Police have so far arrested three people in connection with the murder and urge anyone with information on Atherley’s whereabouts to contact them. A warning was also issued that anyone hindering the investigation is at risk of imprisonment.
A statement released on behalf of Callum's family said:
Three men aged 21, 20 and 18 arrested in connection with the stabbing have been bailed while the investigation continues.
