Police have made further arrests after a mother and daughter were hit by a car on Waterloo Road in Stoke-on-Trent on Tuesday evening (15 August).
A 26-year-old man from Stoke-on-Trent was arrested yesterday afternoon and remains in police custody.
A further three men from Stoke-on-Trent have been arrested in connection with the incident in Cobridge.
Two of the men, aged 29 and 32, were found in Manchester last night. A 33-year-old man was also arrested in Stoke-on-Trent this morning.
A 17-year-old girl and her one-year-old daughter were seriously injured during the incident. The mother and daughter remain in Royal Stoke University Hospital and their conditions are described as stable.
The vehicle which officers believe was involved in the collision, was located yesterday and is currently undergoing forensic analysis.
All four men are being questioned by officers.
