The Queen's Baton Relay has arrived in Birmingham earlier today ahead of the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games.
Birmingham is bidding to host the Commonwealth Games in 2022 and the federation is expected to choose a host city in the Autumn.
Those wanting to bring the games to Birmingham say it would be a "low-cost, low-risk, high-quality option".
The baton was on show earlier at the Alexander Stadium, where athletics fans gathered to watch the Grand Prix in which Sir Mo Farah won gold in his last ever track race in Great Britain.
ITV News Central has been speaking to Louise Martin, President of the Commonwealth Games Association, about the baton's journey.
