73-year-old cyclist killed in collision

A cyclist has died after being involved in a collision with a lorry in Derby, the incident happened at 4.10pm today at Fernhook Avenue.

A spokesman for Derbyshire police said that the cyclist was 73 years old. and he was killed in a collision with a lorry near the roundabout opposite the Blue Jay pub off Raynesway in Derby.

A spokesman for Derbyshire police said:

“We were called to a collision at 4.10pm on Fernhook Avenue in Derby. It was between a lorry and a cyclist. It’s been confirmed the cyclist has died."
