Up to 75,000 expected at UK's biggest video games show

Over 75,000 people are expected to put down their consoles and head to the UK's biggest video games show at the NEC in Birmingham.

Brandon Hill, 14, and his grandfather 76-year-old Robert Lilley, were among those to visit the EGX games event.

Brandon was keen to show his grandfather more about the world of gaming and how technology continues to develop.

Gaming is a multi-billion pound industry with 32.4 million gamers across the country.

EGX gives people a chance to meet representatives from game makers both big and small and try out new games before they hit the shelves.

With Christmas just around the corner, consumers are predicted to spend over 4 billion pounds this year on gaming products.

The UK is now the 5th largest games market in the world.
