Hundreds watched the Birmingham Weekender parade which went through the city streets earlier today.
The Colours of Birmingham parade started on New Street and ended in Victoria Square, with dancers and Brazilian beats entertaining the party spirit.
A Chinese dragon and a life-size, mechanical elephant made from reclaimed bicycle and other recycled materials, were also seen making their way through the packed streets.
The Birmingham Weekender continues until the 24 September with food markets and cultural catwalks all due to take place over the coming days.
