Tributes have been paid to Reagan Asbury at a fundraiser in his name after he was killed in a stabbing in Walsall Town Hall last week.
The 19-year-old died in hospital last Sunday from a wound to his neck after a fight broke out in the town hall.
Players and staff at Pelsall United, where Reagan played as a centre-half, organised a fundraiser today in his name. Family and friends also attended the event.
One person said "we're all heartbroken, I am lost for words". The man said he now wants to raise awareness on knife crime because "the impact its had on his (Reagan's) family and friends...its wrong...wrong."
Reagan's girlfriend, Georgia Seedhouse, was also at the fundraiser and described him as a "nice lad" who "always had a smile on his face".
