More than 7,000 poppies have been knitted in Mansfield ahead of the town's Remembrance Day parade.
Mansfield District Council asked locals to help knit poppies and approximately 2,000 have been knitted in the last 11 days.
The council are now urging people to help them with attaching the poppies to the netting along the parade route.
The public can visit events in Mansfield Market Place throughout October and can also buy a poppy for a donation of £1, with money going towards the Royal British Legion.
A commemoration board, where the public can write messages of condolences on, will also be visible on the route as a mark of respect for those who have fought for the country.
Remembrance Day will take place on Saturday 11 November.
