Money has been stolen from a cash machine in Leicestershire after thieves used gas canisters to force it open.
The Co-op shop in Cosby, is the latest in a eighteen cash machine attacks across Leicestershire and Rutland since June.
Police were called to Main Street at 1.12am this morning after reports of a break in.
Thieves broke into the store and then used gas canisters to force open the cash machine, leaving with an 'undisclosed' amount of money.
A spokesperson for Leicestershire Police said 'extensive damage' was caused to the rear of the cash machine during the incident.
