Tonight: Staying cold with clear spells for many. There is a risk of catching a few showers, mainly in the northwest of the region, turning to sleet or snow in places.
Saturday: Cold, bright and breezy with showers in the north and east of the region. These turning to sleet or snow on high ground, and perhaps to lower levels too.
