A 16-year-old boy has pleaded guilty to the manslaughter of a father-of-one from Birmingham.
The youth who can’t be named for legal reasons, entered a not guilty plea to a murder charge but admitted manslaughter of Troy Paul.
The father-of-one was stabbed on 8th July last year on Twickenham Road in Kingstanding.
Michael Burrows QC, prosecuting at Birmingham Crown Court, said the teenager’s plea was on a written basis.
Judge Melbourne Inman QC adjourned sentence until 29th January and remanded the teenager in custody.
