Hundreds of people have attended a special service in memory of pioneering footballer, Cyrille Regis, who passed away in January.
Cyrille Regis was not just a fantastic footballer but someone who helped pave the way for the next generation of black footballers to make it in the sport, despite racist taunts being directed at him during his career.
Regis played for many teams across the Midlands, including Aston Villa, Wolverhampton Wanderers and most notably West Bromwich Albion and Coventry City.
The service was held at Coventry Cathedral, with former team-mates of Regis and the Regis family all speaking to the crowd. The crowd also got the chance to relive some of his greatest career moments.
