Thousands of football fans travelling from the West Midlands to Wembley this weekend are being warned of chaos on the railway lines as planned maintenance takes place over the bank holiday weekend.
90,000 fans of Aston Villa, Shrewsbury and Coventry are due to travel down to the capital, many of which are expected to travel by train.
Some fans are being warned they might not be able to get back from the capital, while others are being told they could face queues of up to an hour and half to board a train.
Diversions and replacement buses are also in place.
- West Midlands Railway - No trains between Lichfield and Birmingham - rail replacement buses in place
- Virgin Trains - No trains between Birmingham New Street and Coventry - diversion via Wolverhampton, Stafford Nuneaton to London Euston
- Chiltern Railways - Queues of up to 90 minutes expected between Birmingham Moor Street and London Marylebone
Shrewsbury fans heading to London are unlikely to be affected by the disruption if they avoid Birmingham on Sunday. Coventry fans travelling on Monday should expect normal service on Monday.
