A mum from Leicestershire has described how her life has changed after a tick bite has left her battling Lyme disease.

28-year-old Jordon Craddock from Barwell says she has to take 32 tablets a day for her condition and suffers from fatigue, dizziness and nausea.

The mum-of-three believes she was bitten last January (2017) while she was out in woodland area in Barwell.

Following the bite, Jordon says that she has received hospital treatment. She said:

I don’t feel like myself, it’s taken over my body completely. Every day is a struggle for me with the tiredness, headaches, nausea, brain fog, I am constantly in pain and in and out of hospital.

If it wasn’t for my family, I don’t think I would be here.

Jordon is now raising funds for alternative medical treatment in Turkey.
