A teenage boy has been stabbed in Loughborough, and police have begun an investigation into his assault.
Officers went to Ratcliffe Road at about 4.40am today (Sunday 17 June), after a 15-year-old was found with a stab wound to his leg. He was taken to hospital where he remains in stable condition.
The area is being examined so police have cordoned off Burder Street. Ratcliffe Road and Glebe Street were also initially closed off, but that has been lifted.
Two men, aged 24 and 29, have been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm.
