A memorial to fallen servicemen and women from Carlton in Nottingham has been unveiled.
It lists the names of those serving in the two World Wars, as well as in the recent conflicts.
It is a result of a campaign by a local man Paul Gunter, whose nephew died while serving in Afghanistan in 2011.
Lance Corporal Martin Gill was shot dead when he was just 22.
His uncle wanted to remember him, but found out there was no specific memorial that remembers Carlton's war heroes. He set out to create one.
His campaign raised over £9,000 pounds. More support came from the National Lottery Fund.
Local Gedling Borough Council donated the place in the cemetery, helped to organise today's unveiling and will also take care of the memorial.
