The family of Samantha Eastwood has issued a further tribute to the midwife, stating her 'memory and legacy will live on'.

The statement focuses on Miss Eastwood's career, which the family reveal was her goal from a very young age.

“From the age of twelve all Samantha wanted to be was a midwife. She had to work very hard to achieve her goal.

“Samantha may no longer be here but her memory and legacy will live on.

“Thank you to everyone for their kind thoughts for our family.”
