A mother from Sutton Coldfield whose son escaped from the Costa Concordia when it sank in Italy, now fears for her daughter who is stranded on another Costa cruise ship near the Seychelles.

Mum still waiting to hear from daughter
"Until I speak to her I really don't know how she's feeling; how much panic there was on the ship and how much panic she felt herself. If it was all done in a controlled manner she may think it's all fine and she can go back on. But until I speak to her I really don't know how she'll feel."

Mother 'completely shocked' at news her daughter was stranded on ship
"Completely shocked I couldn't believe it was happening again - you know the ship was in danger. Even though I knew the fire was out obviously I didn;t know the extent of the fire but in the same email they did say that everyone was safe so there was a little bit of comfort there."
