There's been a rise in unemployment throughout Britain for the 12th month in a row.
In the West Midlands, 241,000 are out of work. That is 9.1 % of the population.
Labour's Shadow Work and Pensions Secretary, Liam Byrne MP, said:
Unemployment has risen at its slowest quarterly rate since May 2011 according to official figures released today.
Data from the Office for National Statistics shows that unemployment for the three months to January 2012 rose by 0.1%.
