Caroline Hoddinott, headteacher of Haybridge High in Hagley in Worcestershire said Luke Chapman was a much loved son, grandson, friend and student and will be missed very much.

A statement has been released by Haybridge High School and Sixth Form in Worcestershire following the death of a 15 year old schoolboy who collapsed during a rugby match. The statement from headteacher Caroline Hoddinott reads:
A 15 year old boy from Worcester has died after collapsing during a rugby match.
It happened yesterday afternoon. He was a pupil at Haybridge High School.
The boy was airlifted from Baxter College in Kidderminster to the Birmingham Children's Hospital on Tuesday afternoon .
