There were tearful scenes in Stoke-on-Trent today as the world's last traditional oatcake shop closed for business. The Hole in the Wall, which has been running since the 1920s, is being knocked down as part of a council regeneration scheme.
Owner of Hole in the Wall Glen Fowler has been serving customers from his traditional Oatcake shop in Stoke since1982.
This is the queue outside the traditional Oatcake shop in Staffordshire which is closing today. Hole in the Wall has been in business for the past 30 years.
