Union members at a secondary school in Nottinghamshire will stage their third walkout this week today.
Kimberley school has already seen seven days of strike action, and school governors have rejected an offer by the National Union of Teachers (NUT) to hold fresh talks about their plans to become an academy in return for suspending further action.
Proposals to extend the consultation process had been put forward by the NUT, involving the conciliation service ACAS in a new round of negotiations.
But the governing body has said that there is no middle ground, they refused the idea, and seem determined to carry on with conversion.
