Four hundred soldiers from the fourth battalion, The Mercian Regiment paraded through Worcester today to mark the end of their most recent tour in Afghanistan.
They were joined by members of the Grenadier Guards and the Queen's Royal Hussars, who are also just back from the war.

Nearly 800 soldiers have marched through Worcester in the latest homecoming parade here in the Midlands.
Service men and women from the Queen's Royal Hussars, the Grenadier Guards and the 2nd Battallion the Mercian Regiment have been taking part.
Thousands of people turned out to show their support including Gary Hemming who's son Luke lost his legs in Afghanistan.

Worcester homecoming parade
More than 250 soldiers will march through Worcester city centre today.
Hundreds of people are expected to support members of The Queen's Royal Hussars and the Grenadier Guards when they parade through streets later.
The soldiers march will include marching bands and followed by an official reception at the guildhall and a public event at Worcester Racecourse where a charity race in aid of Help For Heroes will take place.
The homecoming parade comes ahead of Armed Forces Day on Saturday.
