Controversial leisure centre opens in Leicester
A multi-million pound leisure centre has opened in Leicester.
The Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Leisure Centre has a six lane swimming pool, a sports hall hall that can hold up to 800 people, and a 15ft climbing wall.
The project has caused controversy as the construction of the centre meant the demolition of the 180-year-old Bowstring Bridge and the Pump and Tap pub.
