A four-year-old boy, who was visiting the seaside with his family drowned after slipping from a jetty, a coroner said today.
Dylan Cecil from Kettering was on holiday when he fell into the water at Burnham-on-Sea in Somerset on Sunday August 19. He was said to have been trying to get a closer look at the sea when the incident happened.
Coroner Michael Rose today said a post-mortem examination showed Dylan drowned.

A minute's silence has been held on the beach at Burnham-on-Sea in memory of Dylan Cecil from Northamptonshire who was washed out to sea a week ago.
The four year-old died after falling into the water from the town's slipway.
This morning his mother Rachel McCollum and Darren Cecil joined crowds for a minute's silent reflection in his memory.
The event took place as part of the town's Rescue Services Day. It will be followed tonight by a memorial service at a nearby church.
Dylan's favourite Bruno Mars tune The Lazy Song will be played, together with the hymns 'I The Lord Of The Sea 'And 'Sky and Father I Place Into Your Hands'.

Missing Dylan Cecil, full report
Police searching for Dylan Cecil, the four-year-old boy who fell from a slipway at Burnham-on-Sea on Sunday, have confirmed that a body has been found. The discovery was made near the yacht club in the town.
Although the body is yet to be formally identified, Dylan's parents have issued a statement saying they're "extremely grateful his body appears to have been returned to allow us to bury our son".
Dylan Cecil's parents "extremely traumatised"
"We would like to thank everyone for their help and support during this difficult time. We would like to express our gratitude for all the messages of sympathy and support from both the local community and wider public across the nation.
"In particular we would like to thank the people involved in the search – the police, RNLI, HM Coast Guard and the Burnham-on-Sea Area Rescue Boat (BARB). We are still extremely traumatised but very grateful that it appears Dylan has been returned to allow us to bury our son."
Body found believed to be Dylan Cecil
The body was discovered at about 12.30pm today. Police say they believe it be that of missing 4-year-old, Dylan Cecil.
