Students in the Midlands are among some of the top in the country
Students in the West Midlands achieved 9% of the A*'s given in this year's GCSE results whilst those in the East Midlands achieved 7%.

Concord College, Shropshire's International school, has received a pass rate of 100%.

Record breaking GCSE results for new Academy
Students at The Marches School in Oswestry are the first year of GCSE students to receive their results since the school became an Academy last August.
Students and staff were celebrating this morning as a record 92% of students achieved 5 or more GCSE’s A* - C.
It's a 4% improvement on the 2011 results.
