Arrests have been made in connection with a stabbing outside the Primark store in Nottingham City Centre on Sunday 11th November.

Police appeal for witnesses after Nottingham stabbing

Nottinghamshire Police have issued the following appeal for information after a 27-year-old man was stabbed in Nottingham city centre in the early hours of Sunday 11th November.

Detective Inspector Keith Priest said:

“The top worn by the victim that night made him quite distinctive. Did you see him?

“We believe the attack took place near the Brian Clough statue not long before thevictim was found. We also think a number of people were involved.

“Were you out in the city that night? Did you see anything suspicious? Haveyou learned of anything since that night that you think might help us with ourinvestigation?

“Officers will be handing out leaflets and speaking with revellers at the scene and atpubs and clubs in the city centre on Saturday night (17 November 2012) as part ofan anniversary appeal for more information."

Nottinghamshire Police have issued an image of the same style of sweatshirt worn by a 27-year-old man who was stabbed in Nottingham city centre in the early hours of Sunday 11th November.

Detectives are hoping people may recognise the distinctive design on the sweatshirt, and could give some clues to what happened to the man before he was stabbed.

Detectives are appealing of witnesses to come forward by contacting Nottinghamshire Police directly on the 101 phone number, or by contacting Crimestoppers.

Police have more time to question men arrested in connection with Nottingham stabbing

Police have been given more time to question three men arrested in connection with a stabbing near the Primark store in Nottingham city centre in the early hours of Sunday 11th November.

A 27-year-old man was stabbed in Long Row at 00:45. He was taken to the Queen's Medical Centre with critical injuries.

Doctors say the man has been making signs of improvement over the last few days and he is now described as being in a 'stable condition'.

Three men, two aged 19 and another who's 21-years-old, were arrested yesterday and are being questioned by police.
