A coroner has recorded an open verdict into the death of a young bride who collapsed and died while on honeymoon in Cambodia.
Leicester's Deputy Coroner, Donald Coutts-Wood, found that 27-year-old Kristy Cadman-Jones from Broughton Astley in Leicestershire died from excessive morphine and codeine in her system, caused by taking heroin which she may have mistaken for cocaine.
Mrs Cadman-Jones died on the 9th January 2012 at the Regent Park Hotel in Phnom Penh.
She and her husband Damien had been on a four week tour of South-East Asia.
At the conclusion the coroner told Mrs Cadman-Jones' family that they may find the verdict unsatisfactory.
