A murder investigation has been launched after a man died at Canal Street in Ilkeston. Michael Moss, 48, died of his injuries despite treatment from paramedics. Two men have been charged with his murder.

Three people have been charged in connection with the murder of a man in Ilkeston.
A 26 year-old man has been charged with the murder of Andrew Moss while a 26 year-old man and 46 year-old woman have been charged with conspiracy to commit grievous bodily harm.
They will appear before Derby Magistrates Court today.
Andrew Moss was found injured at a house in Canal Street. He later died from his injuries.

Four arrested in connection with Ilkeston murder
Four people have been arrested in connection with the murder of a 48 year-old from Ilkeston.
Two men, aged 26 and 34, have been arrested on suspicion of murder while a 26 year-old man and 46 year-old man are being held on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder.
They remain in police custody under questioning.

Derbyshire Police have launched a murder inquiry after a man was murdered in Ilkeston, last night.
Officers are carrying out house to house inquiries along Canal Street as crime scene investigators complete forensic work.
Police were called to a house following reports of a disturbance at around 9pm last night.
A 48-year-old local man was found to have been assaulted at the house and despite treatment by paramedics his injuries proved fatal.
A post mortem examination is due to take place today to determine how the man died.
Police are keen to trace two men seen leaving the house around the time of the incident. They are both described as white, one in his 30s and the other in his 40s.
