Notts County have announced that Chris Kiwomya will be taking charge of the first team squad as caretaker manager.
The development squad manager was asked by Chairman Ray Trew, to take charge of first team matters following the departure of Keith Curle earlier today.
The former Ipswich, Arsenal and QPR striker accepted the offer and will now take charge of his first game when the team travel to Stevenage on Tuesday evening.
Notts County have confirmed they have sacked manager Keith Curle.
Curle took over in February last year and was removed following a run which saw them win just two of their last 11 games.
Notts County are currently 10th in League One.
