The driver sped off and a car was found abandoned a few hours later.

Police hunting a hit and run driver who caused a pensioner to suffer very serious injuries have seized the car believed to be involved.
The 70-year old woman was hit this morning at around 11:30am on Coventry Road in Yardley. Inquiries led officers to the Olton area of Solihull where they found a damaged blue Vauxhall Astra.
Forensic experts are now examining the car.
The driver is understood to be an Asian or mixed-race male.
